Palestine-Education.net is designed to collect and show educational materials in Arabic and in English that in one way or another relate to Palestine – Palestine’s history, culture, and environment or its daily life. Educational materials for uploading can include work sheets, teacher guidelines, educational stories, edu-games or suggestions for a discussion. The materials might relate to formal subjects and to the curriculum taught at Palestinian or other schools but also to informal education for children or adults. Uploading items can be done simply by registering as a user on the site; then to choose items - texts or photos – one wishes to submit. Importantly, there is no need to send materials first to a website administrator, but items can be uploaded directly and put on the site in accordance with one’s wishes and needs.
PEN is built up through the cooperation of educational partners in Palestine. Names and logos of the organizations partnering in this project are to be mentioned on the home page. Partners will be those willing to annually upload a certain number of items, or to support the site in other ways.
